  • Use the tweezers or some tools thin and sharp to cut the adhesive between power flex and bracket. And then pry it up and remove it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

When you say follow the steps in reverse to finish the repair, what exactly happens with the glue melted in the first step? Do you just reheat the back cover to set it again, or do you need to apply your own glue? Similarly for the power flex. You mention you need to pry past the glue, does this indicate it also needs to be glued back into place?

You have to add an adhesive on the edges of the back cover. Don’t apply heat from the heat blower
