What you need

  • Using the T5 screw driver, unscrew all of the screws that are holding down the black plastic casing.

  • Remove the black plastics casing surrounding the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

  • Using the PH000 screwdriver head, unscrew the screw that is holding down the motherboard. It is located on the left side of the motherboard.

Step 4

  • Using a pair of tweezers disconnect the battery from the motherboard so that the motherboard could later be removed from the device.

  • Once you have flipped the motherboard over, you should be able to locate the speaker at the top of the phone.

  • Remove top speaker gently with a pair of tweezers.
  • The speaker is also connected to a flat black plastic casing which will also be removed as you lift the speaker

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
