Battery
- Open the SD card slot.

- Using plastic opening or prying tool, take off the back cover of the phone.
- The SD slot opens an area where the edge of the back is exposed and can be pried open easily.

- Using Phillips 000 Screwdriver, remove the two 2.5mm phillips head screws.

- Using Torx T5 screwdriver, remove the four silver 5mm torx head screws.

- Using Torx T5 bit size, remove the four black 4mm torx screws

- Using plastic opening or prying tool, remove the black plastic circuit cover.

Step 7
- Using small plastic opening tool, disconnect the wire connection. Do this by carefully inserting tool under wires and pulling straight up.
- You may need to pry from both sides of the wires to remove the connection.
- Be careful! Damaging the connection port could prevent a new battery from working.
- When inserting a new battery, press firmly on the white connector to snap it into it’s port.
Using small plastic opening tool, disconnect the wire connection. Do this by carefully inserting tool under wires and pulling straight up.

Step 8
- Use the plastic opening tool - you can use a larger one, or keep using the small one - to pry out the battery.
- The battery is glued in with adhesive, so you may have to pry a little hard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Well done! I allways repair iphones, but my own phone is this HTC Desire 610 and I hadn’t T5 torx for disassemble it. ;)

Hi thanks for the useful video, however after changing it the new battery didnt work. I tried charging and turning on. I replaced with the old one which still charged and was usable but this then also didnt work. Ive checked connections etc. Any other suggestions? Many thanks
