Step 1
Opening the Bottom Panel
- Find the bottom panel locking mechanism
- Move the switch to the right to unlock and slide it in a downwards fashion

Removing the Battery
- Slide the battery latches to the right to loosen the battery
- Remove the battery and place it to the side

Removing the Bottom Case
- Remove the keyboard screws
- Remove these screws with a T8 screwdriver
- Remove these screws with a philips screwdriver
- Once they are removed, carefully lift up the bottom case

Removing SSD and LCD Connector Cover
- Unscrew SSD screw and slide the SSD out
- Remove these screws and place the LCD connector cover to the side
- Disconnect all of the motherboard connectors

Disconnect all of the motherboard connectors
Step 5
Removing the LCD
- Unscrew the 6 LCD screws to the top left and right
- Once removed, carefully remove the LCD
- Tip: Remove two screws from each side and then place the laptop on it’s side. Unscrew the final two and separate the LCD and Top Case

Step 6
- Screw the new LCD in and make sure to connect all of the LCD connectors
- Screw the bottom case back onto the laptop
- Connect the battery and put the battery cover back into place

Once the repair had been done. Call the user and let them know their laptop is ready for pick-up
