• Turn off your laptop.
• Ensure your laptop is off. Removing the battery while it is on may harm your laptop or yourself.
• Flip over to view the bottom of the laptop in order to gain access the battery and the DVD±RW Drive.

• There are two battery release switches circled, slide both switches inward to release and remove the battery.

I did all the steps but the laptop didn’t turn on at all. I then unhooked the power, removed the new replacement battery, and plugged the power back in it turned on without the battery but it won’t turn on with the new battery in it. What am I doing wrong? Thx for you time.
