- Remove the five screw covers across the back edge of the laptop
- Remove the 13 screws that hold the base in place.

- Carefully pry up around the edges of the laptop. Take your time around the ports as they can easily get damaged.

- Slowley lift the top case/keyboard upwards and disconnect the three ribon cables.

- Disconnect the battery from the main board.
- Unscrew the 8 screws holding the battery in place.

- Lift the battery out and your done.
