Loosen the back cover
- Use an opening tool or your fingers to pry up the back cover from the laptop.
- Plastic clips hold the back cover lightly in place, so you may encounter some resistance.
- If it feels like there is strong resistance, you may have a model that includes screws under the corner feet. Carefully pry the feet up to make sure they don’t have screws.
