              Scanner Lid
  • Grasp the scanner lid cover from the front of the device and lift lid all the way up until it stands on its own.

  • With two hands, grasp the lid on both sides near the hinges and lift straight up to release the lid from each hinge.

              Reflective Document Mat
  • Once the lid has been removed, lay it on a flat surface with the white mat facing up.
  • Using the flat end of a plastic spudger, pry the mat off at one of the front corners. Do this again for the other front corner.

Step 4

  • Once both front corners have been released from the plastic clasps the rest of the mat should easily lift off.
  • Recycle or discard the damaged mat.

Would a piece of poster board work for a reflective mat?

I don’t think poster board would work because I don’t think it’s reflective enough.
