- Pull up on the battery cover.
- If there is white stuff coming out off the batteries, put on gloves. The batteries are leaking and can be harmful to your skin.

- Alkaline or Lithium batteries are recommended for this camera. Zinc-carbons won’t last long, and rechargeables have a slightly lower voltage, so the performance of the camera may be worse with rechargeables.
