  • Power off device and place with battery facing up.
  • Ensure that your hands are not wet, even if the laptop is off or dead.

  • Push slider on left-hand side of device into unlocked position. This slider is not spring loaded so it should stay in position afterwards.

  • Push in right-hand slider with your thumb and simultaneously apply slight pressure away from your body.
  • It may be helpful to keep your left thumb on the left slider and push with both thumbs.

  • Battery should easily separate from main device.
