- Before beginning, make sure the laptop is properly shut down and charger is detached.
- Slide the battery release switch to the center of the computer to release the battery.

- Remove the battery.

- Loosen the 7.25mm screw on the bottom of the laptop holding the “L” shaped cover down.

- Slide the cover towards you, then pull up to remove it.

- Locate the RAM card and the two prongs holding it in place.

- Using either your fingers or two metal tools, push outwards on the two prongs until the RAM card pops out.

- The RAM card can now be pulled out at a slight angle.
