When pressing the power button the device shows no sign of turning on.

Make sure the power adaptor is plugged into the wall. Plug the other end of the adaptor into your device and check to see if the LED light on the charger turns on. If so, it means the power is flowing into your computer from the power adaptor and charging the device. If not, the power adaptor is faulty and you should consider buying a new power adaptor.

After checking to see if the LED turns on when plugging in and attempting to charge the device, leave it charging for a trial of 10 minutes. The computer takes large amounts of time to complete tasks on the OS.

When the device starts to slow down doing normal tasks, the hard drive is often faulty. Check to see if there is a large sound coming from where the hard drive is located, and if so, the hard drive is faulty. Another way to see if the hard drive is bad is to check to see if there’s a slow transfer rate. Certain operating systems using RAM can slow down because programs will use more RAM then available to your device. To fix this problem, try to not run as many programs simultaneously or increasing the amount of RAM in your device. Consider ordering a new RAM and follow our replacement guide by clicking here.

The Device is turned on however, the screen is not giving a reliable image or not displaying at all.

It is common to accidentally disable the screen by pressing the “FN” button. Try clicking this button while also pressing the function key to see if it turns back on.

If the screen isn’t disabled, it is possible your screen broke due to water or liquid damage, or by dropping the device. Consider ordering a new screen and follow our replacement guide by clicking here.

The Device feels like it is often overheating or a burning sensation occurs on the device.

Sometimes, when putting the device on a sofa or a bed, it is common to over heat. Try moving the device to a table, desk or somewhere else on a flat surface to see if that fixes the problem.

The device produces a distorted sound or no sound at all.

The audio driver malfunctions and needs to be reinstalled. Locate the windows icon near your taskbar and click it. Type in “device manager” in the search box and press enter. Locate the drop down menu and click on the input/output icon. Right click on “speakers” and click “uninstall”. When finished, right click on “input/output” and “scan” the computer for hardware changes. The speakers should reappear.

If the speakers continuously don’t work after reinstalling the input/output, it is possible the device’s speakers have been blown. Consider purchasing new speakers to replace them.
