              Battery               
  • Make sure the laptop is powered off and unplugged first.
  • Turn your laptop over so the bottom is facing up.
  • Locate the battery latch and slide the latch switch all the way to the left.
  • The latch will lock and stay in place.

  • Carefully lift the battery out and away from the laptop.

              RAM               
  • Remove the two 5.5 mm JIS#0 screws.
  • Lift the panel up and off the computer.

Step 4

  • Once the panel is removed the RAM card will be visible.
  • The RAM is inserted into its socket with some metal triggers. To remove the RAM card, push the triggers away from the RAM card.
  • If done right, the card will be at an upward angle pointing out of the device.
  • Gently grasp the RAM card ,and pull it out.

To insert a new RAM card, put the card into the slot and press down till the metal triggers click over it, holding it in place. After that, follow steps 1 to 3 in reverse order.
