              Battery               
  • Flip the computer so that the bottom side is facing up, and locate the battery above the screen hinges.

  • Slide the switch under the battery compartment to release the battery.

  • Remove the battery.
  • The battery will have popped out of the compartment when it was released.

              RAM               
  • Unscrew the two silver screws holding the protective cover in place until they make a clicking noise.
  • The screws do not remove from the cover.
  • Unsnap the cover by lifting the edge along the battery compartment.

Step 5

  • Push the two tabs on the sides of the RAM compartment away from the memory stick.
  • This can be done with your fingers, or any sort of flat edged tool.

Step 6

  • After the tabs are moved, the RAM stick will pop up, and you can pull the card straight out of its slot.
  • Place the stick (new or original) back into the same slot where you pulled the previous stick from, and press straight down on the card until the tabs click into place.
