Introduction

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Flip the computer so that the bottom side is facing up, and locate the battery above the screen hinges.

  • Slide the switch under the battery compartment to release the battery.

  • Remove the battery.
  • The battery will have popped out of the compartment when it was released.

Step 4

              Hard Drive               
  • Unscrew the two silver screws holding the protective cover in place.
  • The screws do not detach from the cover.
  • Remove Cover by lifting the edge along the battery compartment.

Step 5

  • Slide the hard drive towards the empty gap, lift up on the hard drive, and remove it.
  • If the replacement hard drive lacks a rubber case- remove the rubber case that is around the old hard drive, and place it over the new hard drive.

Step 6

  • Re-insert the hard drive, and slide it back into place.
