Step 1
Camera
- Remove rubber screw covers from the LCD screen. They cover the screws. The stops on the top of the screen pop off, but the lower covers require a screwdriver to remove.
- If you need to use the screwdriver to remove the rubber screw covers, gently push the screwdriver down the edge of the stopper and then use the screwdriver as a lever to pry the cover from the hole.
- Remove the six 7.15mm screws underneath the stoppers. There are four on top and two on bottom.

- Press the tabs in on the sides of the screen and pop the plastic covering off.
- The edges of the LCD screen are very sharp. Take care to not cut your fingers!

- Lift the screen out of the casing at the top near the camera.
- Take care to not snap the plastic casing! It is brittle and still attached to the bottom of the screen.

- Gently remove the main cable from the camera.

- There are three clasps holding the camera down. Gingerly lift the camera board up, being careful not to snap the board, clasps, or vertical plastic pins (inside the gold-colored rings).
- The metal tabs to the left and right of the camera (for the LCD) are sharp, watch your fingers!

- Remove the camera unit from the laptop and you are done!
