              Back Panel
  • Lift up the back panel using a spudger, and remove it from the device.

  • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver unscrew the panel from the computer.
  • Lift the panel up and remove it from the laptop.

              Optical Disc Drive
  • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the single screw securing the disc drive to the device.

Step 4

  • Remove the disk drive by pulling out so that it can be replaced with a new one.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
