- Use a Phillips screw driver to remove the the two screws that hold the service cover in place.
- Remove the service cover.

- Remove the screw that locks the CD drive in place

- Push on the rear end of the CD drive with a small non-metallic item to free it from the case

- Pull the CD drive out
